This model is designed to support learners who are working outside of a formal group. You might be a high school student whose school doesn't offer cybersecurity classes. You might be an adult looking to kickstart a career in cyber. Perhaps you've been working for a while, but you want to pivot to cyber. No matter where you're coming from, we've got you.
In designing our curriculum, we worked closely with industry partners to ensure that our courses prepared learners with what they need to be career-ready. This model consists of one course, Cybersecurity Fundamentals, that equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for an entry-level cyber role and to be successful on the CompTIA Security+ exam.
Each module of this course consists of lessons that present topics in an easily-digestible format, followed by checks for understanding to assess your readiness to build on that topic. Lessons are accompanied by skills labs that allow you to apply your learning on virtual machines, providing access to both Windows and Linux operating systems. Throughout the course, there are periodic exams to make sure you are mastering the content.
Cybersecurity Fundamentals is broken into eight modules:
Laws and Organizational Management
Authentication
Cryptography
Threats and ATTPs
Networking and Wireless Concepts
Blue Team and Security
Red Team Operations - Ethical Hacking
Digital Forensics Introduction
A new cohort launches at the start of each month. For more information about the process, contact info@cyberworkforce.com with the subject: Individual Learner.
